Episode 29
The USLawEssentials Law & Language Podcast continues its series of interviews with multilingual lawyers. In this episode, Stephen Horowitz interviews Lucas Rezende.
Lucas is a Brazilian and US attorney, practicing in New York. He is the founder of Rezende Law, P.C. and is a former colleague of both Stephen and Daniel Edelson from St. John’s University School of Law. Already multilingual, we learn that Lucas is adding yet another language to his repertoire – – Russian!
Lucas’s warmth and enthusiasm really shines through in this interview and he shares some great tips and insights for aspiring multilingual law students and attorneys.
Not only that – – we also learn some great trivia about Lucas’s neighborhood and St. John’s University. Can you name the former President from Jamaica, Queens? Can you name the renowned rap group that rapped about St. John’s University?
Here’s a rap we just wrote for Lucas:
