LLC stands for limited liability company. An LLC is different from a typical corporate entity and if you are from a country other than the United States you may assume based on its name that an LLC is just a typical incorporated entity. It actually allows for greater flexibility than other types of business entities but is usually not the preferred type of corporate entity for people seeking investors as it cannot “go public”.
